The Leonid Yacobson Ballet Theatre has successfully concluded its tour across such prestigious venues as the Mariinsky Theatre and the Tovstonogov Bolshoi Drama Theatre. The performances were marked by a series of memorable débuts.
We have already made posts on social media, congratulating several young dancers from our theatre: Inna Snigur (who debuted as one of the grown swans in The Swan Lake on July 30), Magda Studzińska (who made her first appearance as a Diamond in the third act of The Sleeping Beauty on August 9), and Alsou Zainulina (who took part in the Spanish Dance in The Swan Lake on August 10). There were also two débuts in The Nutcracker on August 11: Valerie Gomez de Cadiz played the doll and appeared in the Spanish Dance, while Ksenia Andreenko and Dmitry Sobolev performed the Chinese Dance. In Don Quixote on August 16, Marseille Kazykhanov ventured into playing Sancho Panza, and Maria Konovalova and Inna Snigur contributed to the Romani dance. A few more début performances took place on August 25: Tasman Davids played the evil wizard Rothbart in The Swan Lake, with Anastasia Milyachenko appearing as one of the Friends of the Prince. On August 26, Alena Bulygina debuted in a duo in the third act of the same ballet. On August 28, Elina Bednaya joined the Grown Swans for the first time. We would like to wish the very best to everyone who made a début! May all these wonderful young dancers enjoy constant creative growth throughout the new season!
