Open Rehearsal of Sleeping Beauty

On Saturday, October 22, the Leonid Yacobson Ballet Theatre held an open rehearsal of the Sleeping Beauty ballet inside its rotunda at 15 Mayakovsky Street, especially for the mass media representatives.

The rehearsal was supervised by Jean-Guillaume Bart, who is responsible for the ballet's choreography and libretto. The journalists saw select scenes from the upcoming performance.

The rehearsal was followed by a Q&A session, which gave the media a unique opportunity to interact with Jean-Guillaume Bart, a well-known French choreographer, dancer, and teacher, as well as interview the Yacobson Theatre's artistic management, tutors, and everyone who contributed to staging and performing the ballet, and learn their opinions.

The open rehearsal was attended by the film crews from the Russia-1 and Saint-Petersburg channels, reporters from the Russia and Saint-Petersburg radio stations, and journalists representing the leading municipal and federal printed and digital media.
