On August 1, the Leonid Yacobson Ballet Theatre began a series of performances (which may even be called a tour) at the historic venue of the Mariinsky Theatre. The spectacular City Day Festival, held on May 27 to commemorate the founding of Saint-Petersburg, culminated in the Classics in the Palace Square concert. This unique show featured performances by dancers from the Leonid Yacobson Ballet Theatre.
