This weekend, the Leonid Yacobson Ballet Theatre embarked on a grand journey throughout the People’s Republic of China: a celebration of the Year of Russian Culture. Our dancers have already performed in Beijing, and are now getting ready to stun the public at four more venues in Tianjin, Kunming, Changsha, and Xi'an. 
 

The troupe is touring with a classical Swan Lake production with music by Tchaikovsky. After the first showing in the Chinese capital, the performers had a meet-and-greet with the audience. The event guests took a look behind the scenes at a ballet rehearsal, mingled with the troupe, and listened to art director Andrian Fadeev’s talk on the history of Russian ballet.
