From 5 to 17 July, the historical venue of the legendary Alexandrinsky Theatre will be hosting a new project by the Leonid Yacobson Ballet Theatre, titled Golden Collection. No Intermissions. Come to the luxurious imperial chambers to marvel at masterfully enacted scenes from ballet classics like Jean-Guillaume Bart’s version of The Sleeping Beauty, The Swan Lake choreographed by Marius Petipa and Lev Ivanov, and Johan Kobborg’s unique interpretation of Don Quixote. We will gift her our ballet recital, Forever Timeless. Leonid Yacobson’s Choreographic Masterpieces, on 7 July.
As always, our new project will feature guest stars. It will come with a special addition of the Ivan Vasiliev. With Love... Charity Gala, with Bolshoi and Yacobson Ballet stars performing. The inimitable Ivan Vasiliev, Honoured Artist of the Russian Federation, will delight the public with fragments of popular productions, including those that he himself choreographed, side by side with his equally renowned friends: Maria Vinogradova, Anastasia Stashkevich, Ekaterina Krysanova, Kristina Kretova, Nina Kaptsova, Artyom Ovcharenko, Vyacheslav Lopatin, Denis Savin, Igor Tsvirko, Alla Bocharova, Anna Skvortsova, Kirill Vychuzhanin, Stepan Dyomin, Dmitry Sobolev, and many others.
