We at the Leonid Yacobson State Academic Ballet Theatre would like to sincerely thank the St. Petersburg administration for supporting Andrian Fadeev in this momentous decision. Our art director and manager has been invited by Valery Gergiev to direct the ballet troupe at the Mariinsky Theatre. He will, however, also remain at the helm of the Yacobson Company, a position that he has held since 2011.

Maria Repetieva is getting ready for her début in Swan Lake. Today will be her first time playing Odette and Odile, one of the most complex roles in the classical repertoire.

People's Artist of Russia Svetlana Zakharova is directing a diverse programme that showcases pieces by the country’s three leading ballet troupes. At the Great Hall of the Science and Art Park, soloists from the Perm Tchaikovsky Opera and Ballet Theatre have let their skills truly shine on-stage, while Mariinsky played several one-act ballets, and the Leonid Yacobson Company treated the audience to a showing of Don Quixote.
