Andrian Fadeev prepares to multitask as art director at both Leonid Yacobson Ballet and the Mariinsky Theatre
We at the Leonid Yacobson State Academic Ballet Theatre would like to sincerely thank the St. Petersburg administration for supporting Andrian Fadeev in this momentous decision. Our art director and manager has been invited by Valery Gergiev to direct the ballet troupe at the Mariinsky Theatre. He will, however, also remain at the helm of the Yacobson Company, a position that he has held since 2011.

Leonid Yacobson Ballet Theatre’s Gold Collection
The third iteration of our annual Gold Collection Festival will be hosted at St. Petersburg’s best historical venues from 2 July to 16 August. The Leonid Yacobson Academic Ballet Theatre will introduce the public to classical ballet masterpieces, one-of-a-kind indie productions, and this season’s choreographic premières.

Don Quixote comes to Sirius
Sirius Federal Territory is hosting the Days of Dance project. People's Artist of Russia Svetlana Zakharova is directing a diverse programme that showcases pieces by the country’s three leading ballet troupes. At the Great Hall of the Science and Art Park, soloists from the Perm Tchaikovsky Opera and Ballet Theatre have let their skills truly shine on-stage, while Mariinsky played several one-act ballets, and the Leonid Yacobson Company treated the audience to a showing of Don Quixote.
