Winner of the Vaganova-Prix International Competition of Ballet Dancers (Saint-Petersburg, 1995).
Winner of the Baltica Award (1998).
Winner of two Golden Soffit Saint-Petersburg Theatre Awards: in the Best Role in a Ballet Performance nomination for playing the part of Petrouсhka in the eponymous ballet and performing a solo in Jewels (2000), and in the Best Actors' Ensemble nomination for playing a part in Christopher Wheeldon's For Four ballet.Honoured with the Ballet Magazine's Soul of Ballet Prize (the Rising Star nomination, 2000).
Honoured with the annual Positano Premia la Danza Léonide Massine (Positano, Italy, 2006).
Born in Leningrad (currently Saint-Petersburg).
Graduated from the Vaganova Russian Ballet Academy, where he studied under Vladilen Semyonov.
Joined the Mariinsky Theatre Company in 1995 and became a soloist in 1997.

In 2001, John Neumeier tailored the main part in his Sounds of Empty Pages ballet especially for Andrian Fadeev.
Mr. Fadeev has also starred in ballets at the Berlin, Vienna, Munich, and Rome State Operas, as well as at the Beijing and Tokyo National Theatres.


From 2011 to present day, he has been working as art director and manager at the State Academic Leonid Yacobson Ballet Theatre.
