Cheeky Chastushki get nominated for Golden Mask 2024

    This Golden Mask award season, Cheeky Chastushki, a ballet staged by Vyacheslav Samodurov for Leonid Yacobson Ballet Theatre in December 2022 to celebrate the 90th birthday of composer Rodion Shchedrin, has been short-listed for five nominations.

   The award’s judges have been highly appreciative of the entire team behind the production. Vyacheslav Samodurov has been nominated for Best Ballet Master's Work; Anastasia Nefyodova, for Musical Theatre: Best Costume Designer; and Sergey Vasilyev, for Musical Theatre: Best Lighting Designer.

   The overall show is also contending for the Best Production: Ballet title.
