Leonid Yacobson Ballet Theatre brings beloved classics to Vladikavkaz

The Leonid Yacobson Ballet Theatre will perform its Swan Lake and Don Quixote ballets in Vladikavkaz from 11 to 18 May, as part of the Grand Tour project organised by the ROSCONCERT state event planning agency. The troupe will play at the Mariinsky Theatre branch in North Ossetia.

‘Tours to North Ossetia have already become an integral part of our ballet season. The people of Vladikavkaz always give us a very warm welcome, which obviously inspires us,’ says Andrian Fadeev, Honoured Artist of the Russian Federation and Art Director of the Leonid Yacobson Ballet Theatre. ‘This time, we will bring them some classics that are not represented at the local Mariinsky Branch: The Swan Lake and Don Quixote. We are hoping that this will become a momentous occasion for all ballet fans.’
